Our Region

The Exploits Regional Chamber of Commerce services the business community along the Exploits River, Bay d’Espoir, and Connaigre Peninsula. This includes all towns along Routes 350, 360, and 370 and all Trans Canada Highway towns between Norris Arm and Badger.

Our boundaries start at the north with the towns of Leading Tickles and Fortune Harbour. Heading south, through Botwood and Norris Arm, we go straight to the south coast’s Connaigre Peninsula, ending in Harbour Breton. Back along the Trans Canada Highway, we go west toward Bishop’s Falls and Grand Falls-Windsor. Our region continues through the interior to Badger and ends in Buchans.

This beautiful and vast region of Central Newfoundland and Labrador has some of the best scenery in the province, with grand ocean views to the north and south and luscious forests with mighty rivers and lakes in the interior. This region is also home to a variety of industries, including forestry, aquaculture, retail, healthcare, and mining.
